Kimberly Louise Gibbler is back. Andrea Barber reprises her "Full House" role of Kimmy in this new series. Relocated to Philadelphia-to the relief of Danny and Stephanie, and the tearful disappointment of D.J.-She lands a job working as an assistant to fashion designer Dorothy Reese, actress unknown, where she causes her own usual brand of trouble, and is constantly threatened with being fired. Also appearing are Sally Struthers as Kimmy's no-nonsense landlady Margaret-who doesn't like being called Maggie-and Sarah Schaub as Margaret's daughter Tammy, who shares Kimmy's apartment room, and who sometimes can't stand Kimmy's habits and attitudes.

Eve Gordon will portray Dorothy.

That sounds like a great idea for a show! Kimmy deserves her own show! She was very unique!

Sarah Schaub's character name will be slightly changed to Tamara Ralston. Also, Andrew Kavovit will show up in some eps as Evan Kelsey, Tamara's boyfriend who has a 1962 Chevrolet, and who is constantly plagued by Kimmy's shenanigans.

Kimmy feels that the room she shares with Tamara is dull and "all too basic". So she decides to burn some incense. When Tamara, after a date with Evan, returns she is not happy because she is allergic to the stuff. Tamara tries dousing it with water, but ends up spilling the water on the floor, leading to sparks between the two young ladies. At the end of every episode, Kimmy writes letters to D.J., telling her what it's like in Philly, and about living with Tamara.

Amanda Bearse joins the cast as Nancy Lang, Dorothy's new right-hand woman who was given the job overlooking Dorothy's assistants-including Kimmy, who calls Nancy, behind her back, Iron mouth. Nancy has a no-nonsense attitude and frequently tells Kimmy to shape up or ship out. Also, Kimmy faces Evan's [and Tamara's] wrath when she totals his Chevy.
