Syesha- she's actually doing pretty well

Syesha - Absolutely amazing... definitely her best performance.. and I've never ever felt this way about her before. I think I'll actually be semi-upset if she goes this week after that performance.

Syesha - yeah i liked it, though i liked "I Will Always Love You" better. she actually showed PERSONALITY this week though!

Syesha did do a great job. A couple pitch problems but I thought this was her best performance so far

Jason - He needs to learn to control his breathing, sounds like he was having a panic attack throughout the whole song.

Jason - Uh... I loved this? Am I deaf? Because the judges seem to hate it... I think it was actually one of his best performances. Seriously am I deaf? -____________-

Jason- Memories :shocked . I did not expect him to pick that song. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Not his best performace but it was neat to here the song done by a guy since that is such a woman type song

Jason - this was borderline terrible. just...really bad. totally the wrong song. i think he hit like 3 of the notes. he's in trouble tomorrow. but lets be honest here...its Broadway week, what else could he do? he gave it his all. apparently he's sick too.

Brooke - Ehhhhhhhh. Yeah I agree with Paula... she shouldn't have started and stopped. Just pull a John Stevens and hum through it when you forget the words :lol: and yeah she sounded so nervous throughout the whole thing... EHH.

Oh no Brooke started the song over part way through. It wasn't bad once she got started but it wasn't the best either. She is going to be in trouble again. I really like her personally but there's alot of good singers and she really needs to up her game if she returns next week

Brooke - Very risky. The song was too big for her and she lacked that emotional connection as in her other songs. Only thing I bought was her vulnerability. That performance will probably put her in the bottom 3.

Brooke - i think she could've knocked it out of the park if she hadnt forgotten the lyrics. she totally lost all of her confidence (similar to what happened to David Archuleta with We Can Work it Out earlier in the season). parts of it i really liked, i loved the connection she had to the song. but vocally it was just MEH. but she will make it through based on sympathy votes.

tonight is very...awkward. :lol: Jason and Brooke's performance were both extremely awkward.

David A - LOVEDDDDD ITTTTTTTTT. One of my favorite performances of his so far!!!

Wow David was hot!!!!!!!!! I loved it. I like that song to begin with but David did a top notch job with that one. The best performance of the night so far. WOW, WOW, WOW Love it :clap:

not watching the last two because Simon pissed me off.

David A = Magical. This song really shows how versatile he is. I agree with Paula on how he took a broadway song and made his own contemporary and unique cover.

Carly - LOVED IT. She really needed a great performance like this! She better not be in the bottom 3 tomorrow.

Carly - one of her best performances, no matter what Biased Randy said. her best since Come Together for sure.

Carly - She rocked it tonight. I could tell she was into this song. This performance is her best since Come Together.

David C - Song was out of his element; more fit for Jason. But he sung it well.

David C - one of my favorites by him actually. i liked it.

odd night. but i thought everyone did pretty well except for Brooke and Jason.

umm...the bottom 3 will be Brooke, Syesha, and Jason. Brooke and Jason will be the bottom 2, and either of them could go. but i'll say Brooke for now.

David - I really loved this too...it was a nice refreshing change from his constant rock covers.

As for ranking, I thought David A, David C, Carly, and Syesha were all amazing. Jason was good, but not incredible like the four I just mentioned. And Brooke was absolutely the worst tonight.

I think Brooke's in trouble tonight. If I had to pick the bottom 3, I'd say:

Brooke
Syesha

With Brooke going home.

As much as I loved Syesha this week, the results will be biased and she will probably end up in the bottom 3. Along with Jason and Brooke. Like Randy said, most of these songs were written for powerful voices and Brooke has the weakest so she will probably be going home tomorrow.

Carly was my favorite of the night. Just a fun, lively performance.

Interesting night. I think it was rough for most of the contestants because of the strange theme, especially people like Jason who obviously had no idea what to make of anything. I thought Syesha and David A. were good, though.

Without being TOO blunt...

Syesha Mercado - AMAZING! The best of the whole night! And she looked HOT!

Jason Castro - His vocals weren't anything special. Honestly, I was a bit bored.

Brooke White - I LOVE Brooke, but last nights performance, like Simon said, was a little uncomfortable to watch (at one point). After she forgot the lyircs in the beginning, it sounded a little like she was going to start crying right there. It did get better when she seemed to pull it together at the end though.

David Archuleta - I agreed with everything Simon said - it was forgettable and one of his weakest performances. He did hit a nice note at the end though. He only gave an OK performance this week, IMO.

Carly Smithson - This was a fun performance, but her vocals weren't that great. I wish she would have picked a power ballad this week.

David Cook - I didn't feel like he brought anything special to the song. It sounded like I was actually at the theater. It was very "old fashioned" as Simon says. I didn't enjoy it.

Syesha was my favorite last night, followed by David Cook. Both of their performances blew me away. On the other hand, I seriously want and think Brooke will go home tonight.
