I miss Mikado. He's been gone a month now. I hope he comes back, and realizes that clear thinking and fair people know that he's a decent and honorable man. I miss Mikey's posts. Witty and intelligent, he posted all over this site. He minded his own business and steered clear of the drama.

I've never seen Corner Gas but that Board needs you and I do miss lurking in your Nostalgia thread. It really brought back a lot of memories for me. You are a good man and this board needs members like you. :)

Thanks so much for posting this Irene - I hope you two can patch things up since you've been such wonderful friends over the years here. Forever whatever reasons, people make mistakes and family forgives. We're a family here at SO. It's good to have you back and would be fabulous if Mikey sees this and realizes just how wanted and needed he is at SO - as are ALL of us -the good, the bad and the ugly (sometimes) ;)

Now Michel - really, Corner Gas has only one more season to go and I really need your opinion on that!! What will we do without our prairie crazies?! Plus, I watched the Habs game against Boston thinking about you so for me to do that is SOMETHING! I might not be able to keep this up much longer!

I voted Yes :lol: Yeah i miss Mikado I feel like I understood how he felt sometimes. I think he was nice to me I know he had his opinions on things but for the most part I understood how he felt. I enjoyed playing Games on the board with him I still like playing with the other members but we are missing his humor and insight on things. He was really close with Jo/Blairfan I know she probably misses him a lot too. He liked Corner Gas which is a show i had never even heard of before It's a Canadian show but I can't watch it because i don't get the station it's on WGN and i don't get it but i heard it was funny and he liked hockey a lot too. I really don't know if he will ever come back.

I hope he comes back, but why do we need to vote? you said people come and go on here, when I left- so either they come back or not. a vote isn't going to make them come back, if they're not online to see the poll in the first place. i have nothing against him, but nobody put together a poll for me or andrea to come back- I came back for reasons, mostly because I missed a lot of great members and friends on here, not cause of a poll either. That's just my opinion but Mikado come back.

He ended up returning and did nothing but moan and whine and criticize the moderators. He's a very ungrateful person. I fought like hell for him, and in turn, he treated me like crap. Still, he's not suspended or banned. Nobody's stopping him from returning. Even if he did return, he'd probably just whine some more anyway. Ever since he joined, he's always stomping off mad and then returning. Thinks everyone's out to get him, yet he ones who WERE out to get him, he loved them.

haven't we been over this? he was traced down last year and turned out to be an experimental robot. he malfunctioned a few months ago and they're still working on him without much luck. some of the parts are still on backorder. have some patience.

Thanks. Yes, it was lousy. He left for months, in disgrace. I was beside myself over it. I think he got kind of a big head over this thread, thinking he was all that. Behind the scenes, me, Cathie and a few others were working this thread to death, PMng people to post in it. Obviously, when he returned, he had reconciled with Irene, who was filling his head with lies, as she was with everyone. So, Mikado treated me like crap. Still, I wouldn't give him any trouble if he returned. Nobody is stopping him from returning. I doubt he'll get a huge thread begging him to return though.

I E-Mailed him and everything to try to get him back and Janice and Cathie went far beyond the call of duty to try to pursuade him to return. People leave all the Time. I have a few good friends that don't post here anymore. I miss them but I still keep in contact with them. They've made it clear that they don't want to come back and I would never start a thread for them. I respect their decision.

I wasn't aware that Mikey had left SO again. I was actually recently wondering why I hadn't seen some posts by him of late. I do know that Janice worked really hard to get him to come back. Which means he certainly must be welcome here. And TJ himsef said that Mikey was neither banned/suspended, so it really comes down to if Mikey himself wants to return or not. I hope he does. The ball seems to be in his court though.

I enjoyed reading Mikado's posts. He was always kind to me. I refuse to get involved in peoples' off-the-board spats. I deal with enough squabbles at work ;)
