Saturday marks the 15th anniversary of the fire at the Branch Davidian compound in Central Texas.

The government's 51-day siege on the compound ended on april 19, 1993, when federal agents released tear gas into the building at Mount Carmel and several fires broke out. 76 Branch Davidians, including 21 children, were killed.

Branch Davidians that now live on the property plan to remember the tragic day Saturday morning at 10:00 during a church service.

"It was a very sad day, I wept. It was not something I enjoyed, but I know this that he knew that he was going to be judged for the actions that he was taking.

The elders of the church allowed him to do it and that was the judgement on them and our church." Branch Davidian Church Pastor Charles Pace said.

Pace says his congregation were not followers of David Koresh but believe he was fulfilling a prophecy.

It seems like yesterday. I remember I was on the phone with my mother when she almost screamed to tell me to put on CNN. Seeing that house ablaze was horrible, knowing there were children inside.
