Happy Weekend Everyone! What's everyone got going on? We're having my stepson and his family over for dinner, but other than that, not much.

Other then that My friends and my boyfriend will come back to my house after the game and have a card party. Then on sunday I will go to chruch and then go to bible study

I had work friday night. I was at comic-con here in NYC today from 11am-7pm. It was very fun and very tiring. Then I had work tonight from 8-midnight. I'll be taking a ride in the mornig to drop my family off at the airport. Then work from noon-6pm. Needless to say, I've had a busy weekend. Next weekend I shall party. :)

I'm sick this weekend.

i woke up Saturday morning feeling poorly, I thought that had to do with all the fun I had Friday night, but soon the coughing and sneezing started.

I managed to get plenty of sleep last night, but my head still feels like I'm in a plane at 30,000 feet.

Off to Duane Reade for some drugs.

;)

As for me, I'm having my daughter's birthday party today. My wife is cleaning like no tomorrow. You'd think the Pope himself was coming for a visit. lol

Aw, I'm so glad to hear that :D

I'm doing okay...it hasn't really hit me yet. My mom is also doing alright. She's keeping herself very busy at the moment so I guess she just needs to use that as her "escape" for a while. Thank you for asking :)

^ I know the feeling, one of my grandfather's died while I was over seas in the Navy. It never really hit me, because I was kept so busy. Just last year, my other grandfather died of stomach cancer and I saw him first hand waste away to nothing. It was very painful to see.

I guess what I am trying to say is, give yourself time to grieve. People grieve thier own way. I have prayed for you and your family. I wish you nothing but the best. :)

Thank you Brian I appreciate your prayers and kind words. I also wish nothing but the best for you and your family...you've always been so kind to me (really who else could I bug to fix my avatars? ;)).

Okay, now go rest up and get ready because I'm sure your house is going to be filled with excited kids hopped up on sugar very soon!

Actually we are taking 26 kids to a bowling alley. It's my mother in law who is coming over my house after the party is over. She is the female equivalent to Felix Unger.

Off to Duane Reade for some drugs.
Gee Tom, do you really think you should be posting that you're doing drugs, and naming your supplier to boot?

Just kidding. Actually, there are no Duane Reade drugstores around here, so I did a quick google, lol. I figured it was a drugstore. Sorry to hear you're sick, and I hope you get well fast. I hope you have a long weekend.

The kids had a blast, but for my wife and I, it was Advil city!

Just imagine 26 kindergartners hopped up on pizza and cake. OY VEY!

I guess it was all worth it. My daughter made out like a bandit and the kids all got together to play. That is what is most important. :)

I'm so happy to hear that the day went well. It's a great idea to have these parties at places like that. When you consider the cost of food, decorations, favors, paper goods, it's a smart move, money-wise, and best of all, no cleanup! :)

Seriously though, if you ever need anything, Duane can totally hook you up.
Just between you and me, he's having a big sale on twelve packs of Pepsi this week.

Nah, Duane's a lightweight. I can get Jolt. I know a guy who knows a guy. ;)

Seriously, I've never heard of Duane Reade.
