I have always wonder how come we nevery seen Niles Ex Wife on Frasier

They had planned to show her around the forth season. But, much like Norm's wife from Cheers, they had so much fun with not showing her. Also, they didn't think they could find someone to fit such a wild description they had created for her throughout the years.

I just saw an episode from the 5th season "The Voyage of the Damned" where Frasier, Roz, and Martin sneak into Maris' cabin (on a cruise) to talk to her about her marriage to Niles. When they realize that didn't want to get caught in her cabin without her permission, they hide from her by going into her bathroom and then into the shower. Maris comes in and you can see her shadow on the other side of the shower curtain. About all that you could make out is that she had long hair that she had styled up.

omg!! i was just worndering that too i mean i watch reruns of frasier and that just drove me nuts not beening able to see her if they weren't going to show her then why couldn't they just have had us hear her voice when niles was talking to her on the phone or something???!!
