I was on Google Map and I typed down the adress where the Winslow House was...and to my surprise, it was still there. But the house next to it was rebuilt in a modern structure.
Anyone else seen this?

1516 West Wrightwood Avenue.

the house next door was considerably rebuilt. When I looked at the intro, that house used to me a single-story, now it's larger than the Winslow house. Thanks for the address, I never would've thought to look for this...

I actually went and took a picture of the Winslow house during my vacation to Chicago last summer. The house on the left is indeed gone and has been replaced by a much newer looking house. I touched the stair rails but did not go up to the porch because I think someone actually lives there. It looks quite aged and dirty and there is a park right across the street in front of it. There are a lot more trees in the area as well.
I will post the pictures I got of the house and the area as soon as I can.

I always thought that was such a cool-looking house, as were the other homes on the block that they would show in the exterior shots.
Nice find! But is the address 1516 or 5116 wrightwood? Only sattelite image of the house looking north i could find simliar when typing in the 1516 address.
