As much as I adore this show, it is hard to watch alot of the time for me, because I have, like, absolutely no female friends whatsoever. Every single one of my friends is a guy, and this has been my problem ever since I was little. For some reason, I just can't seem to make any close girl friends. I tried, but nothing. Then there were times when I thought someone was really my friend, but they would turn around and stab me in the back. It's hard for me because I am in no way a tomboy. I love to shop, I love hanging out at the mall, I love girlie things...yet, I'm constantly surrounded by males. Don't get me wrong, all my guy friends are great, but it would be nice to have a group of female friends I can hang out with, because let's face it a woman cannot open up to a guy the way she can another woman. It's really sad and I don't know what to do about it. Where I work, the women cannot stand me, and I didn't even do anything to them except say "hello" and "good morning" to them on occasion. So, watching this show, even though it's fictional, makes me a little sad sometimes. :(

Oh, that's too bad :( . I always watched it with my sisters and mom, so that was my "female connection", I guess. At least you have us to discuss it with :) . I like reading your posts, and I'm glad you're on this board.

I still watch this show with my mom :lol: my girl friends used to watch this when we were all in grade school but they've moved on from this so I'm like you and just have people on the boards to talk to about it

I'm sorry you are hurting right now. It is very hard to not have any close girlfriends. I know what that is like. I have gone through periods in my life like that. Luckily I have a mom and sister I am close with. Plus I do have friends from church.

I'm glad you shared your feelings here. I will be praying things get better for you. And until you find a great female friend to hang with...enjoy the guy friends. They may not be the same...but they are great too!
