I was always for some sick reason somewhat oddly fascinated by Jan and Marcia's sibling rivalry throughout the series. But I always noticed that they both seemed genuinely annoyed with each other, particularily Eve Plum. It's seen in the "Her Sister's Shadow" episode when Eve utters the world famous "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia" line and then after that she flubs her line and starts tearing up, you can somewhat tell that she was really upset. Good actress I am sure, but alot of her emotions seemed pretty genuine. Even the one where Jan accuses Marcia of trying to steal Clark Tyson away from her, you can see alot of her emotions seemed realistic. And you kind of have to wonder why Eve chooses not to participate in "Brady"-related appearances, and she only seems to make rare appearances whenever Maureen McCormick isn't involved. And how about the animosity between them during the "Weakest Link" and TV Land reunion, huh? Not trying to start anything here, but does anyone else sense a little catfight going on here? It does seem weird that there are all these rumors that they had a lesbian fling when it seems they really can't stand each other.

I agree - I often wondered that even while watching the show during it's inital run. If I have been Eve Plumb I likely would have been jealous - at least to some degree. Eve had to go through that homely stage more than Maureen did I think so for a while anyway, Maureen got way more media attention in the teen mags than Eve did. It would be natural for her. She probably loved playing those episodes against "Marcia"!! ;)

They do seem to have different personalities. Maureen is very outgoing with being on quite a few reality shows and all and Eve seems to be a lot more introverted. It is not uncommon at all for personalties to clash in that sense. An introvert gets very uncomfortable around an extrovert and I bet that's what happened here if there is anything "here" to talk about.

That's a good analysis. Eve Plumb is also an artist (painting and ceramics), and creative people like that tend to be very introverted. I'm introverted myself and spend a lot of my free time working on my scrapbooks. So if indeed that's what the situation is (if indeed, there is a situation to talk about), I think you're dead to rights.
Speaking of Maureen McCormick and shows, has anyone heard anything new about the situation with her dad? She and one of her brothers were profiled on Dr. Phil about a year ago and I haven't heard anything since.

I am a bit on the creative side, therefore also really private and introverted. So, I can understand that.

I can certainly identify with that. :violin:

I think its funny that most people tend to side with Maureen yet if you listen/watch cast interviews its been revealed that art imitated life (e.g Marcia flirting with jan's boyfriend). Also, if you watch the home movies you'll see that they were exceptionally close right up to the 5th season.
However, insofar as recent problems, both of these videos shed some much needed light on the situation;
