View Full Version : Least favorite character?
Big C 04-09-2008, 07:52 PM Who was your most hated/despised SBS character?
For me, it was Dana, hands down.
I know it was only a character portrayed by a real-life nice girl in Staci Keanan, but I absolutely LOATHED her.
She was one of only two characters on ANY TV Show I would ever wish harm against.
Lorimar Television 04-10-2008, 02:16 PM Who's the other person?
I didn't dislike anybody.
Big C 04-10-2008, 04:32 PM Who's the other person?
Marcy from Married... With Children.
Buffyboy323 04-10-2008, 05:55 PM My least favorite character would have to be Brendan, just for the simple fact that he was hardly used. I saw no point to his character after a while.
And I know I'm probably the only one in the world to think this, but Cody is also at the bottom of my list. The character was an ok guy and Sasha Mitchell added a lot to the show, but I never got the big hype about him. Cody was a bit overrated, IMO.

JAHokie46 04-30-2008, 04:08 PM Probably Brendan for me as well. He just wasn't interesting or appealing. I pretty much liked all the characters, especially as the kids got older and were dealing with more real-life things, like JT/Rich in college, Rich-Dana relationship, Al in high school, Mark when he got real friends and got some episodes dedicated to him, JT-Same relationship, etc.
ThomasE 05-21-2008, 11:44 PM JT and AL used to be my least favorite characters during the first few seasons. I began to like Al during the later seasons when she transformed from the tomboy look and JT when the older kids (along with Al) became like the bratpack.
James 06-22-2008, 05:18 PM My least favorite character would have to be Lily. I mean, what was the point of her? She makes Cousin Oliver :D look like the star of The Brady Bunch.

Yooch 06-22-2008, 08:31 PM I thought they all complemented each other, therefore I didn't dislike any of them. Dana's sarcasm could be irritating, but I can't say why, I still liked her.
Furienna 08-25-2008, 05:49 PM Carole could be hard on Frank. Like when he had earned lobster for the family, but he didn't get to eat it!
DSfan 08-26-2008, 12:31 AM I actually don't like a lot of the characters on this show like Dana, Mark, Brendan, the parents could be annoying at times.
The best are Cody, Jean-Luc, JT, Karen, Al.
browneyes106 10-04-2008, 10:14 AM I couldn't stand Mark. He was too nerdy and for some reason he didn't really fit in with his sisters.
Furienna 10-04-2008, 11:53 AM His sisters were older than him though. They interacted more with JT and Al, while Mark was stuck with Brendan.
ThomasE 10-04-2008, 12:33 PM I liked Mark. I felt bad that he was being ragged by his step siblings. I loved that he got a little backbone during season four and began standing up to the Lambert kids. Yes, he was geeky, but he did not deserve that crap and I am glad that he began to stand up for himself. Dana and Karen would defend him, but I am glad he did it for himself.

Why don't you like Dana?

Brandon is my least favorite too. Their was really no point to that character.

At times, I thought Dana took pleasure in the suffering of others (See the episode where she was the boss of J.T. and Karen at the diner).
That hatred, however, was when I was younger.
Since then, that hatred has cooled off- I have found her to be more quirky and humorous at times.

Dana had a bit of a chip on her shoulder. However, I think it is very difficult to be that intelligent at such and young age. I think her cold behavior was often her defense in order that she would not get hurt.
littlebelle 11-29-2008, 07:15 PM Dana's hilarious. Some of her lines leave me rolling on the floor. One of my favorites is "Oh J.T. you left your coat on the floor so I burned it"... it's funnier when she says it.
browneyes106 03-10-2009, 12:32 AM The character I really didn't like was Lily.
catlover79 03-10-2009, 12:44 AM I never cared for JT. A little of him went a looooooooooooooooong way. No offense to Brandon Call.
Furienna 03-10-2009, 07:25 AM The character I really didn't like was Lily.
Lily was okay. Now, don't get me started on Olivia on "The Cosby show". That was an annoying brat!

I agree Olivia was more annoying.
basement_artie 05-03-2009, 03:48 PM Least Favorite: Cody & Dana (Both got annoying but where a huge part of the show. It wouldn't have been the same without them.)
Favorite: JT & Rich (Not so much JT in the early years but when he joined Rich in the later seasons the two where great together.)

Dana was hilarious. I loved her sarcasm. It was great. I totally agree.
