PLEASE, for the Love of God, mercifully END this insanity which is currently replacing some of our favorite old sitcoms in their time spots! I realize that although I may have seen EVERY episode of these 50's, 60's and 70's sitcoms about 1,000 times that are being replaced by this "reunion" nonsense {which seems to air 24/7}, they're STILL a much more enjoyable suitable and better choice of entertainment IMHO. I may get crucified for saying this because I'm probably in the vast minority of those who share my sentiments, but.......a "curse" be cast upon whoever came up with the idea of any and all forms relating to "Reality TV" either in a SCRIPTED version, or not! The television programming that I see go surfing by lately, seems to be nothing more than "reality" based shows. Sorry, but I'm just not the least bit interested in HOW the Gatti's are "growing up," or looking inside the life of an old sterioded-out ex wrestler Hulk Hogan and his family, nor do I care the least bit about watching a show about how WONDERFUL it is for people who are turning 40 and I don't care if your momma can't dance or your daddy can't rock and roll at all. Thus, if I care to learn about a small group of dysfunctional classmates of whom I do not know or would ever care to learn anything about, I would rather wait until my next high school reunion rolls around. At least I would KNOW the players! WHAT has happened to television? Have they just ran out of good ideas that have been a success and worked in the past? Maybe it's my age showing, but I JUST DON'T GET IT! Anybody in my corner on this one? Like the song title, "Dazed and Confused" by Led Zeppelin....that's me!:mad:

No, I totally agree with you. I don't know why TV Land can't air the original classics we want to see. You can watch reality shows on every other channel.

I only watched it once, and that was enough for me! Their other reality shows are not much better. The only thing I watch on TV Land is "The Andy Griffith Show", and I am waiting for the TV Land Awards in June!

It is the biggest hit on TVland's schedule. They will not stop airing a hit show. I loathe TVland. It is not the same. This high school garbage is the same crap that aired on WB a few years back.

In fact, there is a thread on the TvLand boards with a petition to stop showing that kind of crap. Not like it will do any good. I think TvLand is now trying for a less refined crowd, and have all but forgotten the people who made the channel popular in the first place.

Tvland is all screwed up. Not only do they have racist and ignorant boards, they allow incorrect information to appear on their board and air this kind of crap. TVLand is crap. :rolleyes:
