Other than that, this is horribly boring so far.

Well it's 7 here and I just started watching I didn't know this was going to start at 6:30 so I missed a half hour already. But that bit with Miley and Billy was pretty funny.

im only half-watching but that Miley thing looked so lame. and the group performance was weird, but kinda entertaining.

i loved seeing Carrie again though :biglove:

im considering turning it off after Carrie performs again...its just so boring. -___-

Is it just me, or was that special very sad to watch with all those clips of the needy kids?

I on-and-off watched it myself. I don't think I could bare sitting watching it for 2.5 hours straight. The only part I actually found funny was Jimmy Kimmel - it's about time someone talked about Simon's big-ass nipples on the show-LOL.

I also caught Miley Cyrus and Billy Crystal. I absoltely LOVE Billy Crystal, all the way back to his "Soap" days. He was funny. Miley, on the other hand, annoyed the hell out of me the entire time. I know she's just a teenager and all, but I don't really get why everyone loves her. She sand her entire song like she was out of breath and was reading the lyrics off of cue cards.

I completely missed this, but I'll probably watch it sometime since I DVR'd it. I've been extremely busy so I haven't had a chance to sit down and watch it yet.

What did I say - the entire thing, which ran like 2 hours, 40 minutes, only got 17 million viewers. That's pretty pathetic, and was way down from last year's 24 million. I can only say it was their own faults for making it that long.

here in the uk, they are showing this right now on itv2 and i am watching it. i must say teri hatcher has a pretty good singing voice. i don't recognise the song though

the thing with miley cyrus and billy crystal is annoying the hell out of me. well, miley that is. i know she is trying to be funny by cracking some wisecracks with billy, but frankly i am just not buying it whatsoever

I watched the whole thing and really enjoyed it for the most part. Some parts were so-so, but all of the location segments were really touching. Sometimes it takes something like that to show us just how precious life is and how lucky we are compared to others in the world.

On a less serious note, Kimmel was hilarious, as well as Robin Williams. And I loved when Billy Crystal did the Jack Benny take after Miley asked him if he was in show biz (but she was annoying). And Jordin was great last night!
