I noticed next weeks preview shows Lucas punching Dan, presumably over Keith's murder. I know that Keith's murder was very significant and hit Lucas closer than anyone else (except maybe Karen), but he has served his time in prison and looks like he is trying to atone for his actions. I don't think Dan is a good guy by any means, but he is Lucas' father and you'd think after five years, he would learn to start forgiving Dan, especially if Dan really is trying to make up for his past screw ups.
what do you think?

This is a toughie. A big part of me is like "GOD NO!" but then I remember how he rescued Jamie from the psycho nanny.

I definately agree that Lucas should have some hesitations for the time being, but at least try to forgive Dan, after all Dan IS his father

I don't know I mean if someone killed the man that was like a father to me I would prob find it very hard to forgive that person. Dan was never really there for Lucas except out of spite to Karen. Keith was more to Lucas then Dan will ever be and IMO five years is not enough time to forgive someone for taking the person who had a hand in raising you, and the father of your sibling. To me Dan took much more then Keith's life, he took a bigger part of Lucas then most realize. He may start to forgive but in reality a person would have a hard time letting go in five years regardless of the amends a person tries to make. I know I woud learn to forgive but it would really make me mad that five years is all a person spends in jail for killing my "father figure".

I don't think he should forgive Dan, it is just to much to ask. If Dan really feels bad about what he did he should stay away and let everyone move on with their lives. (Of course I don't really want him to do this since it is just tv, and he makes the show so much better.)

That is true but I don't think Nathan and/or Lucas should let him die. That's not cool:mad:
