Wednesday - Idol Gives Back Special
Thursday - Top 8 Results

so someone will be eliminated on thursday...and Jordin and Chris Brown are performing "No Air" on Thursday too! wooo :happyface

I think FOX really goes too far with this Idol Gives Back. It's a great thing they're doing and all, but does it really have to be 2 and a half hours long? Not only that, they've been advertising it on the show since January - I'm already sick of hearing about it.

honestly, im probably not even going to watch it. it's a waste of time to sit there for 2 and a half hours to see maybe 3 celebrities i actually like. i'll just download the good performances and the stuff with the contestants (im sure there wont be much of it) on YouTube...if I DO watch it i wont be paying much attention.

as for the cause - its nice, but im not able to donate anything so theres not much point in me watching it. i probably sound evil saying that, but it was SO incredibly boring last year.

I don't plan to watch much of it either. It's really way overhyped, far too long, and it's very boring.

It is very boring. There's no suspense that we get on the regular results shows on Wednesday. To take up 2 and a half hours of my time on Wednesday night to see performances, like you said, we can see on YouTube is nonsense.

I had the laugh last year becasue the Idol Gives Back Show did less than a regular episode - makes me wonder why the extended it to 7:30.

I am going to be really pissed if I sit through the entire hour results show and Ryan ends up saying "nobody is eliminated this week!"
