James 04-08-2008, 12:46 PM Hats off to the 2007-08 NCAA champions! :clap TVFactFan 04-08-2008, 01:20 PM Hats off to the 2007-08 NCAA champions! :clap How do you lose a 12 point lead in a chapionship game with 2 min left? and then how do you lose a 6 point lead with 1:32 left? Kansas was handed the championship BarneyFife 04-08-2008, 02:34 PM I just knew the free throw problems Memphis has would come back to haunt them. Missing the free throws cost them the Championship, and there would of never been an overtime. TVFactFan 04-08-2008, 07:56 PM I just knew the free throw problems Memphis has would come back to haunt them. Missing the free throws cost them the Championship, and there would of never been an overtime. What really cost them was POOR DEFENSE. Losing a 9 point lead with 2 min left is unacceptable James 04-09-2008, 12:58 PM Hey, what's coach Bill Self doing by flirting with the possibility of jumping ship and going to Oklahoma State?!?!?! BarneyFife 04-09-2008, 01:35 PM Unless he's from OS, I think that would be a dumb move on his part. Isn't Kansas more of a big time school than OS? After winning the championship Kansas will likely give him a good raise. And I don't know how many players he loses this year to graduation, but for a chance to come back and repeat as Champions would be enough for me to stay if I were him. But maybe there's someone at Kansas that he just don't see eye to eye with, or he's just not comfortable at the school. Self is indeed an OSU alum, and he played basketball there while attending school. He played there from 82 through 85, he was a four year starter. But it appears he's staying at Kansas anyway. |
