It was refreshing to see Miley Cyrus unashamed to show forth her spirituality last night when accepting the Kids Choice awards for favorite TV actress, as well as favorite female singer.

After thanking the usual managers and agent etc., she thanked her mom and dad, and ended up by saying, "and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

In the extraordinarily cynical entertainment business, Miley is one of the few that could get away with it. Could you imagine the response of her fans if someone was stupid enough to attack her on it?

I have to admit I have the fiendish desire to see someone do it and the backlash that would come with it.

It's good to see a young lady keep her head on her shoulders and be sincere in her spiritual journey.

That is great! I am glad that she did not get any backlash. Everyone is so sensitive about things in this day and age. If it were me, I'd thank God without fail.

I'm glad that Miley is unashamed to thank Jesus, i'm also so glad that my daughters look up to her instead of other teen celebs who are nothing but trouble.

i watched the KCAs and a smile across my face when Miley said that (being a Christian myself) As far as controvery over that, people need to lighten up. Freedom of Speech, people! But I'm happy nothing was said.

A couple of my friends watched this, but I missed it. Totally didn't know about it. I would like to see it if Nickelodeon is still re-running the program!

I am looking forward to her being at the American Idol Charity thing tomorrow night on Fox.

A friend of ours was on that On The Lot Reality show this past Summer and won! (:D) And one of the first people he thanked was God!

Yes! It's sooooo awesome to see a celebrity thanking God/Jesus for their success and being in their lives.

Especially in this world, is so wonderful to see/hear that still...
