Anyone here a fan of country/pop singer Martina McBride besides me? Well, I know of least one person who is. I don't want to name names though. :lol: ;) A little hint: he has the same name as me. :lol:

Anyway, over the last couple of years Martina has become not only my favorite country singer, but my favorite female singer as well. This lady has such an amazing and powerful voice. Just play the song "Where Would You Be" and you can see how great her voice is.

Martina's 2007 album Waking Up Laughing is what raised her to a whole new level in my mind. It is her greatest album yet, and one of the top 20 greatest albums ever recorded. And playing it always makes me feel good. It is an uplifting album.

In my opinion, Martina is the greatest female vocalist to ever live! The power and control she has over her voice is just unreal. Country radio may be favoring Carrie over her these days, but that doesn't matter. Martina has more talent than Carrie could ever dream of having. I always think it's funny when people attempt Martina's songs on Idol, or other talent shows. No one should attempt her songs, especially the powerhouse ones, unless they want to embarrass themselves. I can't wait to see her again this summer. It will be my 9th time.

I think it is great that she is releasing both a live album and a DVD. :) I'll be getting it for sure.

I think Martina is great. My favorite songs are her girl anthem songs like this one's for the girls, In My Daughter's Eyes, Happy Girl and When God-Fearin' Women Get The Blues. I remember the summer of 2005 I got to see her in concert and boy was she ever good

Martina is alright. I more of more traditional country music fan, but she has skills.

oh of course not as good. but it's my favorite jordin vocal i've ever heard i think. sure i've heard better, but just loved that particular one. and she seemed so excited meeting martina and singing one of her songs. i think that was the night simon told her she was gonna win or something.

and i hate you because you got to meet the woman (martina). you meet every damn body.
