View Full Version : What has happened to Nick@Nite??!
littlebelle 04-05-2008, 11:44 PM It used to have all the great shows. Now it seems whenever I check the schedule it's non-stop fresh prince! What are they thinking?? There is actually a point to this post, (no, it is not just a rant) does anyone know any way of contacting Nick@Nite?? preferably via e-mail? I know I'm not the only one who is frustrated by this and I think if we got enough people to sign a petition we could change this. Thanks for reading :)
Big C 04-06-2008, 12:44 AM Things could be worse, littlebelle. At least it's not non-stop Full House.
BTW, my family likes "Fresh Prince."
littlebelle 04-06-2008, 01:06 AM This is true. Don't get me wrong, I like Fresh Prince... but I would also like some variety. I would also like them to bring back good shows like The Facts of Life and The Wonder Years.
Heather987 04-06-2008, 01:59 AM I have not seen as much FP lately. Its been on yes, but not as much since the mini marathon rotations of FH, Roseanne, and TCS.
friendsfan77 04-06-2008, 02:02 AM I love it, but I've purposely been avoiding FP in reruns in the past several months because it's been on so much... it's ridiculous how much airtime that gets, especially on N@N
littlebelle 04-06-2008, 02:17 PM FP is funny but I just got tired of seeing it on all the time. Roseanne is good too and so is Home Improvement but I think they need more of a mix.
JulieSomoski 04-06-2008, 02:40 PM I think Nick at Nite is actually doing better lately. It's the best it's been in at least a year, honestly. Fresh Prince doesn't even air that much at all lately . . . it airs at the most 4 times a night, which is what Home Improvement and George Lopez usually air a night. They brought back Roseanne, Full House, and Cosby, which is what I've wanted for a long time.
littlebelle 04-06-2008, 02:53 PM In my opinion, N@N had the perfect line up about 8 years ago. Diff'rent Strokes, The Wonder Years, The Facts of Life, Three's Company, All in the Family and more. Those we're the days (no pun intended).

Those were great shows. The lineup started turning for the worse when they started airing nonstop Cheers and Cosby. It was usually Cosby and Cheers in primetime, and then some great classics in latenight . . . kind of what it is now.

I know. I found out by accident that they show the good shows at 3 am.

Ah yes, that was perfect. I'm still miffed at N@N for snatching off "The Facts of Life" from the lineup in a short amount of time in 2001.
treky 04-07-2008, 12:13 AM they've been going downhill ever since they stopped showing things like "THE PATTY DUKE SHOW", "THE BOB NEWHART SHOW", and "NEWHART".
Dean Winchester 04-07-2008, 03:19 AM I dont understand why Nick can't have 10-12 shows a night like they did ten years ago

the perfect lineup was in the 1980s.
in those days, they showed old programs like Dobie Gillis, Donna Reed, Patty Duke, Routte 66 and many more.
littlebelle 04-07-2008, 07:25 PM Hahaha well people of my generation like to watch shows from your time and call them retro!
StallionGuy86 04-08-2008, 09:54 PM Another thing Nick @ Nite has been doing lately is changing their schedule constantly. Or they say something is on, then something different is on. I started watching Nick @ Nite back in 1997. It was soooooooooo much better back then. I remember the beginning schedule also. It was:
8:30- Happy Days
9:00- I Love Lucy
9:30- The Munsters
10:00- Mary Tyler Moore
10:30- Rhoda
It is indeed sad as to what Nick @ Nite has become. I bet in the future, Nick @ Nite will be obsolete and Nickelodeon will be 24/7.
littlebelle 04-09-2008, 06:24 PM Good prediction. Pretty soon they're going to start showing shows that I grew up with and call them retro!! oh wait, they already DO!!
