Anyone ever see this?
They were billed as themselves but they acted almost like their characters.
It was a Christmas themed episode.

Here is a clip from Solid Gold '79 - the pilot episode- where Tim and Richard made an appearance. They did not co-host this one. It actually aired in February of 1980:

Thanks for sharing - although the last person I would've pictured on Solid Gold is Richard Sanders. :lol: Gotta love Tim Reid's tie. :rofl:

i dont remember seeing the christmas ep but i do remember watching the solid gold pilot when it first aired in feb 1980

I saw the clip on youtube and thought it was a nice touch that they did their thing in character. At least, from what I remember, Richard Sanders/Les did. It's a while since I saw it; I'll have to look it up again soon, purely in the interests of scholarly research, you know!;)
