Sure they do, but will they be there next year or will they bolt for greener pastures, perhaps in bigger media markets like in New York or Los Angeles ... or better yet just south of there on I-94? I can't believe these people would want to associate themselves with the "Budmen."

I haven't heard anything about them moving.

Losing will cause you to lose fans. I remember in 1982 when they were in the WS they had plenty of fans. They were America's darlings.

James, why are you so surprised? They were decent last year, too. Look at the players they have this year not their overall history. They have a shot of winning the division. They have a great offense, too, in addition to their top starters like Sheets and Sabathia. They're certainly better than the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds ;)

Truth be told, the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals used to have lots of talent but stink up the league in the 1990s. (However, their owner, Mike Brown, didn't become a failed commissioner. Go figure.)

True, but Tony Gwynn Jr.? No, he has been in the minors the past 2 years. It's like saying Matt Laporta did a lot for them last year, when he didnt even play, same for Gwynn Jr. He's just stuntin like his daddy, or tryin to follow in his footsteps :lol: :lol: :lol:. He is a good player though.

They were, Brian. Today (Sunday) the Cubs won over Florida while the Brewers lost to Houston. Cubs by one game!

Well the Brewers really sucked during thier 4 game homestand with the Cubs, got swept and only 1 of the games was close. Now they are 5 back.
