I really enjoyed watching the complete series which wasn't that bad as I originally believed. It's too bad ABC didn't leave The Ropers after Three's Company, that would have been a great block of comedy. Now I'm of the opinion that the network wanted the series to fail and screwed Norman and Audra over in the process. The way it worked the Ropers technically had a first season and after the show ended during the second season the producers weren't obligated to move the Ropers back to Three's Company.
