I thought I read that the FISH character was still appearing on Barney Miller while the spinoff Fish was on the air. So I would be confused as to why the Fish character didn't continue to be seen on BM after the spinoff was cancelled

He was still on the show. His last episode was the one abt the lady who claimed to have a bomb. That was around 1980 or 1981 I think.

Honestly Brian, I can't recall. I just got use to the show having characters come and go. :lol: Chano (Gregory Sierra) and Fish and of course Jack Soo were awesome. Barney Miller had one of the best ensemble cast if not thee best.

Fish would've been past retirement age, so there wouldn't have been any point having him rejoin the 12th. He did do an occasional visit, which made more sense. Irene is right - the cast ROCKED.
