I just don't get the whole "Rickroll" phenomenon. I guess being 28 and having a childhood in the 80's, and remembering when "Never Gonna Give You Up" was #1 on the charts, it isn't as funny and random to me as it'd be if I was 10 years younger and unfamiliar with him or the song.

I totally fell for one yesterday.

I have this guy friend and this girlfriend. The 3 of us know each other. The guy friend and I are the girlfriend's oldest friends -- in terms of how long we've been friends. That is, we were the first two people she became friends with when she moved to this state.

The guy friend IMed me yesterday, freaking out. "****! **** ME! What do I do!"
Me: "Huh?"
Him: "[name of my girlfriend] is pregnant!"
Me: "Holy ****. Is her boyfriend the father?"
Him: "No. I am the father!"
Me: "Heyyyyyyyyyy... wait a second. HAHAHAHA. I just remembered what day it is. Nice try."


After they pulled that on me, I decided to pull the pregnancy joke on my sibs. They TOTALLY fell for it. :rofl: I gave my sis a good scare, too. Hee hee. :D
