Jaime King is the first victim set to star in the film. She'll play a character named "Sarah Palmer," who marries her teenage sweetheart's nemesis and have a kid tother. When she and her teen sweetheart are reuinted once again, it's clear that she still cares for him. Filming begins May 12th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

It looks like Hollywood is not only remaking everything, but also turning them 3-D, as news has recently broke that this will be yet another 3-D feature. Also, the release date has been pushed forward from February to January '09.

I remember the original film. After the success of Halloween and Friday the 13th, there were dozens of slasher knockoff films in the 80's, but My Bloody Valentine was arguably one of the best.

A remake in 3-D? Five bucks says it's going to be PG-13.
