I believe that both Diana Millay and John Lassel (who played Laura Collins and Dr. Guthrie at the same time on DS) were both on different eps of the original The Fugitive series starring David Jannsen (sp?). It was in fact mentioned at imdb.com that Millay might have scared Gilligan's Island star Alan Hale when they did an ep of Perry Mason together. if true maybe Millay and Lassel being btogether in spooky eps of DS was scarey to David Jannsen. The fact that DJ was a heavy drinker was bad and perhaps seeing both of his former guest stars on tv on DS at the same time (again--PERHAPS!) caused Jannsen to drink even heavier and become more traumatized (he died in 1980)!

also, where is your accussation that Hale was afraid of Raymond Burr? don't you think that if Hale was scared to be around Millay, that he should have been frightened out of his skull to be around Burr. after all, it was Burr who was in the movie Godzilla.
