Lindsay Lohan, intrepid actress that she is, has joined the cast of the upcoming film Manson Girls, says E!. Lohan will play Nancy Pittman, one of serial killer Charles Manson's cult followers.

Girls director Brad Wyman confirmed the casting, while a source says that, even with her recent personal and legal issues, Lohan has been insured to participate.

I wish they would stop glorifying that sick monster. They've already made numerous documentaries, is that not enough?

I'd hate to take on a role like that, it would take so much out of a person. But Lohan probably thinks it'll be Oscar material or something.
