:( What happened to all the "Facts of Life" eppies that were on YouTube?! They used to have almost every single episode of the series on YouTube, then now they only have a few full episodes, or only parts of episodes, or dumb music videos and crap! If they are no longer allowing people to post episodes on YouTube, then maybe they should start airing the show on TV in reruns (instead of "Home Improvement" and "Roseanne" reruns) or maybe release all of the seasons on DVD!!! I am so mad!

I'm angry, too. I would re-upload the eps myself, but I don't want YouTube to take away my account.

I am SOOOO MAD!!!!! I guess it ain't YouTube's fault! It's usually the greedy companies who come after them forcing them to take videos off, or whatever!

Seriously, if Sony would get off its butt and release the rest of the series on DVD, and if a network would air the show, people wouldn't have to resort to YouTube, bootleg copies and trading. It's not like most fans don't want studio master quality episodes on DVD. And that doesn't go just for FOL, but also for ANY show that has a following. This was a popular show with a big fan base, and like The Jeffersons, All In The Family, Diff'rent Strokes, Mary Tyler Moore, and others, IMO, all the seasons should be out already.

I didn't get to download much of season 4 or the movies, but I did download as many Edna's Edibles and Over Our Heads episodes (practically all of seasons 5-9 except about two or three episodes per season) as I could, my train of thought was basically that those seasons would take the longest to actually be released. I'll burn these and other vintage and favorite YouTube vids I download to CD's, that way I'll always have them.

I feel bad for the fans that didn't get a chance to enjoy them or all of them while they were there. And there's no way in hell I'm watching any of the minisodes. Talk about a way to butcher a TV show.

I thank all the people who uploaded the episodes. I missed all but 3 episodes on N@N since I didn't have cable at the time, and I didn't know about Hallmark airing the show later until it was much too late, so YouTube was my place to finally see much of the show in years. Particularly the later seasons.

I completely agree with you. What is Sony thinking with these minisodes? How do they think watching a chopped up version of the original is entertainment? Seeing those minisodes online just makes me miss the show even more!

I didn't get to download episodes from youtube, but I did get to watch most of them. I would have downloaded them, but I only discovered them on youtube a couple of months ago and I just never had time to go to that much trouble. I wish I had done it though. I'm afraid Sony will never release all of the seasons. They obviously don't care what the fans want!

I'm going to have to look into making a trade or something with someone online. I have to have my FOL fix!!!

If these so-called "classic TV" stations can air endless reruns of "Home Impovement", "Frasier", "Raymond", "Leave It To Beaver" and "Roseanne", then they can also get off their lazy butts and air reruns of "Facts of Life"!! And Sony sucks because they are only hashing out three friggin' seasons on DVD, while stupid, worthless piece-of-crap shows like "Frasier" and "Seinfeld" gets the full DVD treatment!!

In the thread 'I met Lisa Whelchel', 'Nanc and Lisa!' says:

"She didn't say a whole lot about Nancy because she's such a private person. Not that I didnt ask a ton about Nancy. Lisa basically said the same things that we all know already. Hopefully she asked her manager about FOL season 4 like she said she would. There is definitely hope though because she said that they r gonna put the Paris and Australia movies as extras on the DVD's as well as the reunion movie so I know they will come out sooner or later. Lisa talked like they were gonna be released she just didnt know when so its just a matter of time!! That makes me really excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It looks like another season may be released on DVD and so perhaps episodes being taken off youtube is a prelude to that.

I hope they release some more seasons, because along with "Diff'rent Strokes", "FOL" is one of the geatest sitcoms in history! It's alot better than the stupid "Frasier", "Seinfeld" and "Home Improvement" CRAP!!

What does everyone think about having a thread with the direct links to FOL videos on youtube? That way you could watch episodes that you haven't yet "found?"

Did you find it? It is one of my favorites, and I have been downloading like crazy since last night so I can try to add some to my "small" collection. I couldn't find Seems Like Old Times.

But they no longer have all my favorite episodes, and I had a special "FOL" playlist set up on my YouTube account so that I could watch them at my leisure. Now we gotta' content with only a few episodes and mostly "FOL" clips set to crappy music!

You may be surprised by this but I dont, there is only two towns around here that I have found a store that actually has FOL Season 3 and everytime i'm there is around a birthday or a holiday and cant get it, my mom thinks having the DVD's is juvinelle, she's a little nuts but my birthday is in may and thats what I'm going to ask her to get me and if it doesnt happen I can get it with money that i get from graduation at the end of May.

Sorry you haven't been able to get season 3 yet. I'm sure your mom has your best interest at heart. She probably thinks it isn't healthy to have an obsession with a TV show.

My mom used to think I was nuts for liking FOL as much as I did in highschool. In fact, I'm pretty sure she still thinks I'm nuts years later. She was here earlier while I was trying to download episodes from youtube (it is taking FOREVER since my internet speed isn't fast enough) and she kept saying "Why are you doing that? You have some episodes on DVD. You are too old to be obsessed with a TV show." She doesn't get that I want all the episodes. I won't die without them...I just enjoy them and want to watch them. You have to be a true TV fan to understand, and she isn't. Sounds like your mom isn't a TV fan either.

Hopefully you can get it for your birthday or with your graduation money.

No with my mom its she doesnt care about others, she can be a bit selfish at times. If its not something she likes forget it! Shes not just like this with FOL she's like this with movies too, she thinks its stupid that my dad and i like the harry potter movies and wont buy them, but if its a movies she wants she's got it the first day. Oddly enough though after I got Seasons 1 &2 we watch them together occasionally so I really dont understand on this one.

If anyone's interested, I'd be willing to reupload episodes. They'd only be up temporarily, and I'll be sure to acknowledge my sources, but I know some people didn't get the chance to save them. And I don't mean to disrespect Sony or anything. I know Anita and others put in a lot of effort. Also, it looks like jayman 75 is posting some 'hidden' episodes in a different thread. Sooo....any takers?

P.S. - I'm not sure if it will work  but I'm open to requests.

That would be wonderful! I would like anything you have time to upload. If you have them, I would like Golden Oldies (they still have part of it on youtube, but not all of it) and Dream Marriage. My daughter loves those episodes and begged me to download them and put them on DVD, but I didn't do it in time.

Videotradeblog has a season 4-9 set which has a good 80% of the episodes from those seasons (it's a little light on season 4, but 5-9 for the most part have about 90% of the episodes). I bought a set from him a few months ago for a pretty reasonable price, so that's an option if you didn't get the episodes off YouTube

I love you avatar Dean Winchester. Channing Tatum is SO HOTT!

Anyway, I was just on YouTube and the Ratings Game has part 2 and 3 up but not part one, same for Golden Oldies, and they're both Anita's eps. if YouTube wanted to get rid of them they should just take the whole thing off not leave part of it.

I was just thinking of a way people could post there FOL clips they downloaded from Youtube. Isn't there a site let say for example like Myspace where you can set your page to private so only the people you invite to join can access the page maybe that is where we need to post these clips and you could invite poeple from this site so they can see them. I don't know if that is possible but it's just a thought

RoryGilmore

I have a facebook page but I don't have any episodes downloaded since I have like over 3/4's of them on Video Cassette. Plus I haven't signed up on Youtube so I don't know if you need to sign up to download stuff or not. None of my friends have ever downloaded stuff off of there or I would know how that works.

Well I was looking up on the web to see how to post a youtube video on facebook and here is the link to the website I found for that.

But the more I read this I am wondering if you can only post videos straight from youtube and not one's you downloaded from there. I have never posted a video on Facebook or I would know this. Plus I haven't had facebook long enough yet to get into that yet
