Pugs Rock!! (I'd post a pic, but it won't let me upload anything at the moment) :( Ireneparalegal 03-27-2008, 11:41 AM PUGS ROCK! Here is my pug, Duke. He follows me everywhere in my house. He is stuck to me like glue. When I go to the bathroom he waits for me right outside the door. When I go lay down, he comes right on my bed or the couch. He loves to snuggle up with me. He is another child. ;) Brieannas21 03-27-2008, 11:57 AM PUGS ROCK! Here is my pug, Duke. He follows me everywhere in my house. He is stuck to me like glue. Guess who walked in and laid right there on the rug as I did my business? He will lay right outside the door. Once, as I exited I accidently kicked him because it was at night and it was dark. Poor thing.  When I dry my hair, he sits right there because he wants me to put the blow dryer on him. I guess he loves the heat. Also, when I take my clothes out of the dryer and into my laundry basket, he will jump on the bundle of laundry and lay there. AB 03-27-2008, 05:15 PM My sister raises pugs, & one of them just had puppies. They're Just Too Darn Cute!!!!! Ireneparalegal 03-28-2008, 02:17 PM When I take my dog to get bathed and groomed, people will always go up to him and start petting him and telling us how cute our pug is. Or when we take him walking, people say, "Hey, it's the dog from Men in Black." AKA 03-29-2008, 05:45 PM I had two pugs, both of whom have since passed away. When we put down our female, Oprah (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=108944) (quiet; I wasn't the one who named her), it was incredibly hard. Two years later, when my dog, Max was put to sleep, it was excruciating. I felt like I lost a part of me. He was my best friend for over ten years. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?attachmentid=61016&stc=1&d=1084248631 Here's what I wrote on my blog when we lost Max: Thursday, March 02, 2006 Goodbye, Max or: All Dogs Go To Heaven I loved Max, and for some bizarre reason, I was his favorite person. I don't know what I ever did to him to deserve such unconditional love and loyalty, but whenever I came home, it was the highlight of his day. Family members would always tell me that with the excitement my presence brought him, his little curly tail could generate enough electricity for a small town. Max was eleven years old. We had him since I was fourteen, and he stuck with me throughout all of my awkward phases. He was a good boy and very loyal to us. Today, we decided to be good to him and let his suffering end. It's one of the most difficult decisions one can ever make, but it's for the best. We saw this coming for a few weeks, but when my mom called me today at work to give me the news, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I had to go home early. I don't know what else to say. All I know is that right now, I'm an emotional wreck and I miss him already. Still, even with the pain of losing them, I would never give up the experience of having had them as part of the family. They're great companions. Someday, I'm going to get a new dog, and chances are, it will be another pug. They're my favorite breed. coffield3 03-29-2008, 06:26 PM You know in all my life I have never met/seen a pug dog, They seem sooo cute :) Ireneparalegal 03-29-2008, 06:39 PM Here is a pic of my dog looking at that pug licking the screen  He was sniffing the monitor too: coffield3 03-29-2008, 06:47 PM Awww Irene he is a cutie ;) Ireneparalegal 03-29-2008, 06:51 PM Thank you. If you were here, he'd be all over you. He loves attention. coffield3 03-29-2008, 06:53 PM Oooo Irene now I want to be there :( ;) Ireneparalegal 03-29-2008, 06:58 PM Pugs really are great dogs. They are great companions and are great with children. We have had our pug since our son was 2 years old. Our dog is gentle with him. Really, with all people. |
