David Schwimmer has turned his back on acting - to concentrate on his career as a director. The former Friends star is enjoying life behind the camera after making his directorial debut with Run, Fatboy, Run.
The 41-year-old - who earned $40 million from his 10-year stint as Ross Geller on the beloved TV sitcom - admits he was so involved in the process of making the Simon Pegg comedy, he didn't even consider taking a starring role in the film.
He says, "I really didn't think about acting in it - I just want to focus all my energy into one thing, directing."

His ugly mug belongs behind the camera.
See my CELEBRITIES YOU CAN'T BELIEVE ARE CONSIDERED HOT, ETC. He was my first post.
The movie has gotten some pretty good reviews so far, (although the good reviews might have something to do with the movie's star Simon Pegg who also co-wrote the script and is a funny guy) so maybe Schwimmer might have a new career.
Personally, If I had 40+ million in the bank, I wouldn't do a damn thing.

If I ever make such an ungodly amount of money, I'm going to tell everyone I know.
They'd never believe me.

Not really a surprise to me. I don't think he's that bad looking when he's got good hair and when he's not acting like Ross. I mean I love the show but he was my least favorite character.

He's in a movie called Nothing But The Truth with Kate Beckinsale, Alan Alda, and Matt Dillon. Comes out in September. He isn't behind the camera, he's in front of it, he plays Kate's character's husband.
