Just curious what everybody thinks. Norbit was an absolute disaster and his new movie..."Meet Dave" is already generating a negative buzz. He was nominated for an Oscar for Dreamgirls, so I think he deserves a pass. I've read other message boards where they a less than forgiving of Murphy's career.

I think he's still talented, he just seems to be a little more selective with scripts. He should consider some more dramatic work because he did good in Dreamgirls

I do agree with that. Lately all he is doing, is trying to recapture the magic of the Nutty Professor role.
