Here is my weekly "closet" find while going through tapes....I don't know if the curtain call is included in the syndicated version of the final episode of family ties or will it be included on the dvd boxset (if they even release the last season).....anyway I found the last 15 minutes from the original NBC network airing....it contains a lengthy curtain call where the entire cast is introduced (including courtney cox), Michael J. Fox is shown in tears, then the credits roll where the entire technical crew says goodbye....with the final being gary david goldberg......does anyone know if this airs complete in syndication, even though I doubt the last episode has been seen in years since the show usually doesn't make it through a entire run when it is picked up by a cable network.

No, the curtain call has not been included in the syndication version of the final episode of Family Ties. It's been years since Family Ties has been on any cable channel and aired. The last time I saw the original uncut version of the final episode was on May 14, 1989. Nearly 19 years ago now. Did you upload any part of the episode online? it would be great to see the uncut version again.

I have that on tape too... Idk what the quality is like after all these years tho.

They did have that clip at YouTube for a little while, but I don't think it's there anymore. When it was there, it was very low quality. They probably will put it on the Seventh Season disc. I don't know why not.

Yeah I hope they put it on season 7, I'd love to have a good quality copy of it on there.
