Scoobiedoo30 03-24-2008, 08:52 PM I cant wait to see The Diff'rent Strokes Marathron on BET from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm Central Time. But 4 out of 16 isn't too bad but still could have been not aired Pavan 03-28-2008, 06:02 PM Blog story: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog/2008/03/star-studded-marathon-for-diffrent.html Scoobiedoo30 03-28-2008, 09:10 PM I am looking forward to seeing the marthon from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm Central Time Pavan 04-06-2008, 05:01 PM I am so happy to see season 3+ on TV...enjoying it. TVFactFan 04-06-2008, 05:04 PM I am so happy to see season 3+ on TV...enjoying it. You chose the marathon over the NBA?-lol Jude The Obscure 04-06-2008, 05:13 PM Pav is a wise man, Sol--learn from the best :D TVFactFan 04-06-2008, 05:17 PM Pav is a wise man, Sol--learn from the best :D The ep on now is revolving around Kimberly so I will wait for the 5:30pm ep with Karrem Abdul Jabbar as a Guest Jude The Obscure 04-06-2008, 05:20 PM The ep on now is revolving around Kimberly so I will wait for the 5:30pm ep with Karrem Abdul Jabbar as a Guest Yabbut it is the one where she leaves Eastland for *da da dum*......PUBLIC SCHOOL!! Run for the hills, Folks! ;) TVFactFan 04-06-2008, 05:27 PM Yabbut it is the one where she leaves Eastland for *da da dum*......PUBLIC SCHOOL!! Run for the hills, Folks! ;) BY the way, I like Adelaide better than Pearl-lol Pavan 04-06-2008, 06:00 PM I was watching three things at once. I skipped the first few DS though. Watched the Yankees and NBA instead. I started DS around 3:30. All DS after this NBA game is over...which will be very soon. GARFIELDKOOL 04-06-2008, 06:06 PM The ep on now is revolving around Kimberly so I will wait for the 5:30pm ep with Karrem Abdul Jabbar as a Guest That wasn't a bad episode. It was about her going to a public school. I remember seeing that when it first aired, I was about 8, but I remember it like yesterday. GARFIELDKOOL 04-06-2008, 06:07 PM BY the way, I like Adelaide better than Pearl-lol Pearl was my least liked housekeeper, but I liked her too. Dean Winchester 04-06-2008, 06:14 PM watching this marathon makes me angry about the DVD's, because the first two seasons of DS are total crap IMO, but seasons 3-6 are great, but Sony won't release those nostalgicgirl93 04-06-2008, 07:56 PM i didn't realize that show stayed on for eight years. i need to get the dvds. i don't even remember these episodes.:) Dean Winchester 04-06-2008, 08:02 PM i didn't realize that show stayed on for eight years. i need to get the dvds. i don't even remember these episodes.:) only the first two seasons are on DVD. It's funny how Gary looked 35 in the last season, well, 35 in a 12 year old's body nostalgicgirl93 04-06-2008, 08:16 PM only the first two seasons are on DVD. It's funny how Gary looked 35 in the last season, well, 35 in a 12 year old's body wasn't he having kidney problems and having dialysis everyday? that would explain why he looked that way.:( MikeLutton 04-06-2008, 10:08 PM i never liked pearl she got on my nerves and was stuck up and not nice Mr.t episode was my favorite i wish they had horrey for Hollywood episode with knight rider instead all the janet jackson episodes. did she ever appear again Smokin' Sods 04-06-2008, 11:01 PM watching this marathon makes me angry about the DVD's, because the first two seasons of DS are total crap IMO, but seasons 3-6 are great, but Sony won't release those Exactly. I have always said this. The best and most memorable episodes of this show were typically from the middle seasons (3-6). I even prefer the season 7 & 8 episodes with Sam over the very early episodes. Here's the irony: To get seasons 3 and up put on DVD, Sony probably wanted to see better sales with Seasons 1 & 2. But, since most fans of the show seem to prefer the middle season episodes, a lot of people probably didn't buy Seasons 1 & 2! I know I only watched 1/2 of season 1 and didn't buy Season 2. But, if they would come out with Season 3, I would buy it THE DAY of the release. friendsfan77 04-07-2008, 12:04 AM BY the way, I like Adelaide better than Pearl-lol It's too bad Nedra Volz didn't stay on the show as Adelaide. I can't stand Pearl. friendsfan77 04-07-2008, 12:08 AM Exactly. But, if they would come out with Season 3, I would buy it THE DAY of the release. Later seasons of many series are more popular than the earlier ones. I wish DVD companies would understand that. That and every show's not gonna sell with Seinfeld and Friends' type numbers. TVFactFan 04-07-2008, 10:53 AM I'm Glad BET is giving life to the show but they need to take editing tips from N@N and TV land and stop going to a commercial when someone is in the middle of a sentence and coming back from a commercial when someone is already talking. friendsfan77 04-07-2008, 12:24 PM I notice the editing is awfully random but the episodes to me still make sense. Though it could most definitely stand to be edited better, for the most part I notice it's as if they pressed pause and went to a commercial. I watched some of the episodes yesterday and I was thinking just how ION would butcher air them. Pavan 04-09-2008, 03:10 PM Another marathon on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 8-11pm! More info: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog/2008/04/bet-adds-more-marathons-rtn-comes-to.html Nice! Pavan 04-09-2008, 04:34 PM Just got word the marathon may not be on for April 20 now...I'll confirm later today or tomorrow for sure. So don't get too happy yet. icecream 04-09-2008, 05:41 PM BET does a good thing letting the whole closing credits run. Other networks take note! TVFactFan 04-09-2008, 07:41 PM Just got word the marathon may not be on for April 20 now...I'll confirm later today or tomorrow for sure. So don't get too happy yet. Well it would make sense to spread it out a bit and have another marathon in May. Having two marathons in one month is kind of strange Pavan 04-11-2008, 11:34 AM OK...the marathon on Sunday, April 20 is still on, as of now, but a little change...it has been EXTENDED! 6-11pm now instead of 8-11pm!
