Damn, it is hot and gorgeous here. Perfect weather. We had wanted to go to the beach, but we decided it would be too packed with people, so here we are. I just finished making potato salad and other stuff, my boyfriend is grilling the steaks and chicken. Having a glass of wine, wearing shorts and enjoying this great summer weather. :lol: I am taking a break while the meat cooks. For the first time in my life, I didn't celebrate Easter. We moved on Friday, and we're both flat out roadkill. My honey and I just stayed home and ordered Chinese food. His son and family stopped by on their way home for dessert, at 8. I was in my pajamas by then. :lol: It's those satiny type ones that you could wear to a party. In the course of two days I significantly reduced my bank account. Still, it was all necessary. I thank God everyday for my new place, with my new roommates, cheaper rent. I'll be ok. No family. Roommates were away. Watched tv when I wasn't spending money or working. Working on holidays. Seems to be a common theme these days. I wonder what my younger self would think of me if we were to meet... Happy Easter.
