No official word yet... but what's your opinion? Is Ed destined to stay locked in the barn forever? Or do you think that eventually all the seasons will be released? I'm leaning more towards no simply because MGM never seemed to care that much about the show (It seems like they had a "Let's just take a bunch of random episodes, jam 'em onto 2 discs, release 2 volumes, then the hell with Mister Ed!" attitude). What's your opinion? I'm hoping for the best!

I am one who would love to see the complete Mister Ed on DVD. I think MGM issued a couple sets with selected episodes in order to test the market, sales probably weren't that great so that put the lid on any chance of full seasons coming to DVD. There's always a possibility another studio could acquire the rights to the show and issue the full seasons, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. MPI did a pretty nice job with Family Affair, it would be great if they could acquire some of these other 60's sitcoms that aren't available yet on DVD. Shout Factory is another studio that issues old sitcoms in season sets.
