Britney Spears has landed another TV spot just days after filming an episode of comedy How I Met Your Mother - on South Park.

The pop singer will join Marilyn Manson and Tom Cruise among the stars who have been parodied on the cult cartoon series, when her likeness appears in an episode which airs in America on Wednesday.

In the hilarious episode, South Park regulars Stan and Kyle take on a mission to get troubled Spears to the North Pole.

In a news release, a spokesman for the show says, "Britney Spears is trying to get away from it all in the mountains near South Park when the boys have a run-in with her.

"Stan and Kyle get caught up in Britney's celebrity and the never-ending feeding frenzy that follows her wherever she goes."

I didn't see the episode yet, but I'm sure it's great. South Park does the best celebrity diss episodes, I'll be satisfied if the Brit episode is half as funny as the Paris Hilton one

it was 3-4 years ago. She came to town to open a store and then tried to adopt Butters and dress him up as a dog, and all the little girls in South Park want to be whores to follow in her footsteps. And at the end of the episode, Mr. Slave and Paris have a "whore-off", in which he wins by shoving Paris' entire body up his rectum :lol:

the Britney spoof episode was brilliant, and Matt and Trey rightfully skewered the media and paparazzi more than Britney herself. The VMA spoof has to be seen to be believed, LOL

fave moments in the episode:
- Butters in his Squirrel costume. "Not me, I'm a Squirrel." And the News Report of a "Giant, talking Squirrel" that was captured.
- Britney Watch was hilarious.
- Rictous! Dominous! That may not be it, but I loved when people started chanting that
- Every time Britney Spears tried to talk, after she blew off her head. I was just craking up, especially when she was singing at the MTV Music Awards
- The Reporters. Matt and Trey obviously hate the media, lol. I liked the part where the Reporter "Hissed/Growled" when they spotted Britney, and I laughed when they were chasing Kyle, they were jumping up and down like crazy
- "...Spearchuckers," the most unexpected line in the show, when it went back to Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton
-Hannah Montana becoming the new victim.
