The reviews I've read on it have been pretty good. Does anybody have one or an opinion on them?

This one is red - really sharp! Came with extra memory, MP3 player, bluetooth and charger. :D I still have to try the tea too.

Do you catch Speakers Corner on Friday's? Last night - the guy with the other puppet who mentioned Ed? LOL

She has them every week - you don't have to watch - just go to their website. I have it in my favourites to catch local traffic, weather and news when I eat my lunch at work and gave it a shot. Then I get this email from her congratulating me. I drove down at lunch to pick it up on my birthday.

I had the pleasure of talking with Ed the Sock on an episode of Much Music's request show R.S.V.P.

No but it was available on satellite for years before it got removed. I loved MM back when JD Roberts, Erica Ehm and Terry David Mulligan were VJ's. There were a few others but I can't recall their names. I had a huge crush on Erica and Terry hosted the Back-Trax retro show every Sunday and of course John Roberts went to CBS and now CNN. MM went downhill when Denise Donlon was promoted to director of music programming as far as I'm concerned.

And you remember the days of JD eh? He used to live in the area I did. I'd see him after work in a Much Jeep (they used to give them black Jeeps to drive - now they're SUVs of course). Man he was good looking! Even better in person and really nice. (course he probably saw the drool from me!). He ended up as an anchor on CBS News (or one of the networks). (oops - sorry - just saw you mentioned that already)

I really enjoy their Breakfast Television actually. It's like family when you watch that station. ;)

Actually not much at all. After I made my request, I got to speak only for about a minute because others were waiting to get their requests in. This took place in 1997 and the Backstreet Boys were being heavily requested on R.S.V.P so I told Ed that if you remove the O from sock and replace it with the next vowel, You get the word that describes the Backstreet Boys. The people in the studio started laughing but poor Ed had this WTF? look on him and said Ok, Funny man, You just let me tell the jokes from now on. :lol: He was cool though as were all the others I ever spoke with at MM.

Thanks Janice! It's a good thing too cuz it's the only thing I got on my birthday other than served with papers! Only me! Then that night, I step in dogsh*t. I not only felt like the type of guy who always steps in the stuff, but was also the flatten "stuff" under my foot at the time!
You know, the column might be a good idea. Everyone's told me it should be a book, but a column would be weekly and fresh.....and trust me - I could always find something to fill it with! ;)


By the way, groundhog goes lovely with a nice, rich bodied Merlot......

MM still exists here, but, they dont show a lot of videos anymore
