View Full Version : Bigfoot running down the street
Arnold_OldSchool 03-15-2008, 11:09 PM As a mere lad of 7 or 8 I recall a Unsolved mysteries episode that featured 1 or 2 Bigfoot running down a road,Also I think a house screen door was smashed and hair found. The segment might have also included a show of some people walking through a jungle or forest and seeing a large hairy beast moving toward them.
Any ideas if this really was a UM segment from the late 80's or early 90's?
angelina26 03-15-2008, 11:18 PM was this also the one in florida where people wre in a bus on a tour and it popped out in front of them?
Arnold_OldSchool 03-15-2008, 11:22 PM I wish I remembered more... its been like 15 years!!

That kind of sounds like the Chupacabra segment, though there probably was a UM segment on Bigfoot
Mystery Lover 03-16-2008, 03:37 AM Yes there were segments on BigFoot on Unsolved. From what I remember one episode showed someone in a forest seeing it.
Strange... wonder if there really is such a thing.
justins5256 03-16-2008, 10:06 AM It was the episode about the alleged sightings in Pike's Peak Colorado. It aired during the first season.
LaToyaBoy 03-16-2008, 12:43 PM was this also the one in florida where people wre in a bus on a tour and it popped out in front of them?
This is the Spunk Ape episode...one of my favorites.
Arnold_Old Schoo, I think you are refering to one of the best ones featured on BigFoot about the man on a mountain trail and is "chased" by bigfoot.
Dont mess around with BigFoot.
coffield3 03-16-2008, 07:48 PM I wouldn't want to be chased by bigfoot that's for sure
Wasn't bigfoot on the Strange Legend's season? My favorite the Mothman was on that one, I might purchase that on dvd :D
Arnold_OldSchool 03-16-2008, 08:12 PM I am actually not referencing the man who is chased by Bigfoot, I have that one on tape and DVd. this would be a really early episode. I'll look into the skunk ape and pike's peak stories...

It was definitely Pike's Peak.
Arnold_OldSchool 03-16-2008, 11:35 PM Pike's Peak didn't appear on any DVD's yet right? What about in Crystal Dawn's?
ididn'tdoit 03-17-2008, 06:58 AM Pike's Peak didn't appear on any DVD's yet right? What about in Crystal Dawn's?
Nope. I actually had it on tape but somebody taped over it. My fault for not labeling my tapes :S

My boyfriend LOVES the mothman segment..
I like that guy who said "that was by far the biggest ugliest bird and I do mean bird I have ever seen" that segment along with the movie has got to be one of the coziest segment/movies ever..
nicoge21 02-20-2012, 08:51 PM There are several Bigfoot segments.
The one with Peter Byrne and a man named Elmer from Oregon in 1994.
The earliest one from Colorado, where a man and his son claim their is a group of bigfoots in their city.
Then there's the Skunk ape segment from Florida, where they sent a hair sample to a testing lab. I think they said it was fake.
Also the minnesota Iceman, the Yeti (Peter Byrne makes another appearance), the little people, Chupacabra, Lake Ogo Pogo monster and the Scotland Loch ness.
I found the case you are looking for, the man's name was Daniel Masaias.

TheCars1986 02-21-2012, 10:15 AM I find it hilarious that there's actually a channel willing to air (not to mention waste tons of money) a show called "Finding Bigfoot".

Yeah, as someone said to me, if they actually "found" bigfoot, it would be on the news long before the show aired, so watching that show is pointless.

My family and I actually watch that ridiculous bigfoot tv show for the
(unintentional?) hilarity. It's michigan. It's cold. And we're bored.
You can't watch those crazy people without
They look like space aliens, running around with their night vision gear
attached to their heads and glowing all green in the dark.
In one episode, they had to go to canada and meet the native man who
did a sacred smoke ritual with old cigarette butts and the people all
wafted the smoke over themselves before going out into the wild and
hooting. So running around in the forest smelling like marlboroughs
is ancient bigfoot scent attractant or something.
Also pretty funny when they did the bigfoot call and a bunch of coyotes answered.
Then all the coyotes howled up the whole valley. How dumb are
these professionals? All you gotta do is, at some point in your life,
howl at your dog. It howls back. They're pack animals like coyotes.
That canine communication was slightly unimpressive.
Also this:
I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's
fault. Bigfoot is blurry, and that's extra scary to me. There's a large,
out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run, he's fuzzy,
get out of here.
