While going through my VHS tapes the other day I came across the 90 minute MTM 20th Anniversary Special which aired on CBS, probably in 1990 or 91.
I watched it today for the first time since I recorded it. While it was nice to see the cast together reminiscing about the show, I think it would have been more enjoyable to see them do the reunion as another episode with the cast playing their old parts, rather than them just sitting on a set talking about how much fun they had and playing clips of the show.
Of course that could have been a disaster like the Green Acres or Beverly Hillbillies reunion movies, but if done properly it could have been something special.
Anyone else who has seen this show, what is your opinion?
