I just can't imagine buying something that ou can already see on the first 8 seasons released on DVD. I would really hope that everyone could see that those DVD's was a sneaky and creative way to get more money from fans

No I haven't and I don't plan to. I already have these episodes in the 8 DVDs sets that I have of this show. What I really would like to see is a DVD of seaons of 3 thru 7 of bloopers that were made on this show. I would buy that. :)

I know for a fact that the bootleg collector's market has things that would blow anyone's mind,like John on the Dating Game in 1967,& Joyce singing & entertaining with Cheryl Ladd on a 1979 special.This on top of the Ropers/Three's a Crowd mess.But the answer from on high is always the same;"Not enough demand"........"too much trouble to clear legally".......on & on & on.So what happens when they look to get more product in the stores? More things we really don't need.F-R-U-S-T-R-A-T-I-N-G...............

Well, speaking of mind-blowing rarities:
-- Don Knotts in several episodes on Search For Tomorrow, c. 1954, opposite Lee Grant (a blacklistee!);
-- Joyce DeWitt in Tomorrow Is Only Tuesday, 1975, dir. Elodie Keene, an amateur movie so obscure IMDB's info on it is false, though it won the top prize at the 1975 International Film Festival;
-- The picture-book adaptation of Americathon (1979) with John Ritter.
I don't have any of this, I just wish...
