Have you ever noticed that Max doesn't seem to wear a wedding ring much after he and 99 are married?

Scoobiedoo30 03-14-2008, 09:39 PM no I nevery notice Max wearing a wedding Ring Mikado 03-14-2008, 11:46 PM Never really thought about it Carrie 03-15-2008, 09:07 AM If I remember correctly, during the wedding ceremony he only put one on 99's finger. I guess they weren't really into exchanging rings back then. I've noticed that on a few shows like Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie. The only episode I remember Max wearing a wedding ring in was the 2-part episode, "To Sire, With Love." He was also wearing one in the Get Smart, Again! movie. ClassicTVGal 03-16-2008, 06:54 PM Ah, I never noticed on Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie. And for someone who we never knew if he was married or not... (some eps we believe so others no) The Chief did wear one some. If not all the time, I'll have to keep my eye out more. Yes, I definately have noticed Max wearing his in Get Smart, Again. Well whether we are talking about real life or not, my parents married in the summer of '69, and my father wears one. My mother still has her's, but due to arthritis, she no longer wears it on her finger, but on a necklace. Carrie 03-17-2008, 01:23 PM I don't know why, but I always notice that stuff, lol. I'm guessing that Ed Platt was married in real life and there was really no need for him to take it off for the series. Although, it did get kind of confusing when the first couple seasons they said he was married and then he wasn't in season 4 but he still wore it. In Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie, I had noticed other characters wearing them, but not Darrin or Tony. My grandparents were married for over 60 years and my grandfather still wore his until the day he passed away. My other grandparents have been married for over 50 years and both of them still wear theirs. I think it's really nice. :) ClassicTVGal 03-17-2008, 09:05 PM Yeah, I notice those things *a lot* for some reason.. lol. (or have ever since I can remember). I also notice "goofs" and things.. My mother once told me (after I pointed one out in a movie, that there was a person who's suppose to look out for that stuff) That gives me an idea for a new thread! ;) haha Carrie 03-18-2008, 09:14 AM Lol, I'm the exact same way. I get that from my dad. He notices everything in movies, tv shows...you name it! |
