The show has generated a 2.0 rating this season and not many women between the 18-49 age bracket are tuning into the show. The ratings for the show has fallen each year since the show made it's debut in 2006

Given how much women hate to cook these days, i'm not surprised. Did you know about the anti-Rachel Ray website thats out there?

Actually, her contract is up in 2010, so nothing can happen until then. She has two years to go. ;) And if and when that occurs, Marie Osmond may be given her own talk show at that time.

AOL wasted my time when I clicked on the link to read that headline as well. They made it seem like her show was being cancelled TOMORROW or at least real soon. Reading the article it says she has a contract until 2010 and nothing can occur until then.

Well, not really, it informed us that her show's ratings have dropped. But I guess the headline stating her show may be cancelled looks a lot better.

The "Rachael Ray" show is one of the best talk show performers and during the recently completed February sweeps period there was only one show performed better — Dr. Phil. In today's Broadcasting & Cable you can see a story about how well we did during the February sweep that saw Oprah was down 15% from last February, Regis and Kelly was down 16%, Tyra Banks down 13% and Martha Stewart down 27%.

As you can see we are actually growing this season in a very difficult TV environment, where total viewership has been down due in part to the writer's strike.

Last season our show averaged 2,552,000 viewers per show. So far this season we are UP — averaging 2,593,000 viewers per show.

And with regard to our median age rising, yes it has, but less than 3% and the explanation for that is we have a loyal viewership that has been with us since the show launched and they had a birthday since last year!

But if we want to talk median ages in first run syndication let's talk about Regis at 56.1, Oprah at 54.6, Wheel of Fortune 64.1 and Jeopardy at 63.2. Our show has a wide appeal with audiences in all age groups.

Rachel Ray is totally safe and successful, besides valerie bertinelli is being tested on Ray for her own talk show in fall '09! Paramount would distribute

Well i heard it's all wrong her reps are telling people that it's ratings are up (which they are right) i feel if they take Rachael Ray off they are not thinking! I have a feeling that Rach is here to stay for quite a while(which is a good thing) since she has the O behind her. I just hope she winds something at the Daytime Emmy's this year!!!

I think it's pathetic that someone would take the time to make a website devoted to someone they don't like. What kind of crap is that? And what kind of idiot would read a website about someone they hate? If you hate her then don't watch, Duh!

I know onething when The Rachael Ray debuted in September of 2006 it started airing weekday's at 4:00 pm CT Time Then in March of 2007 because of Low ratings at 4:00 pm CT WVUE Moved The Rachael Ray Show to weekday's at 12:00 pm CT Time

Personally I could take or leave Rachel Ray as I never watch it, but I am a 45 year old man......but as for the markets that are moving her show, they mean nothing.....nothing insulting but the only TV markets that mean anything are the top 3....NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES, & CHICAGO and Rachel is sitting pretty there.....she just won an emmy and her show is secure for a minimum of three years so lets end this silly thread!

That's what I was saying on the first page. She has a contract for a while, so this talk is pretty much moot.

She Did win a Emmy For "Best Talkshow". I don't really care for her. I like her "30 Minute Meals".

I think she's cute but for a while there, I was suffering from "Rachel Overload"! It seemed that she had about ten shows on the Food Network. My favorite show of hers is "$40 A Day." I have discovered so many cool restaurants through this show. I also like "30 Minute Meals". Her talk show isn't that bad, but it wouldn't surprise me if it has been getting low ratings. Too much of a good thing if you ask me.
