ReelzChannel, the cable/satellite network with the tagline "Everything About Movies, 24/7," has acquired the animated comedy series "The Critic."
The half-hour series, about a down-on-his-luck movie critic (Jon Lovitz) who gets no respect at home or at work, will join the ReelzChannel schedule with an eight-hour marathon preview at 2 p.m. EDT Sunday and then move to its regular weekly time period at 6:30 p.m. EDT Monday (with encore presentations at 8:30 p.m. EDT and 11:30 p.m. EDT). "Critic" is the brainchild of Al Jean and Mike Reiss ("The Simpsons").
