Considering that my birthday is on Saturday, I decided to ask this:

Can you remember any SBS episodes that involved a character's birthday?

Mark had a birthday, when he had a party, and asked a girl he liked to dance with him.

Brendan had a party... with the whole clown incident. Dana also had one too, very funny episode.

Carol also celebrated her birthday in the episode "talking trash" season 6.
It's a very funny one as Frank is giving her a first aid equipment.

Yeah, when she turns 17, and asks her mom for a boy- girl party, and she says no, so she rents a hotel room and has the party there. Then Frank takes Carol out to a hotel, and it turns out it's the same hotel, and they're rightacross the hall from Dana.

What was the other storyline then? I've forgotten, since I haven't seen the episode in years. (I guess it has to do with Karen though. ;) )

Of course... one of my favorite ones. In a nutshell, Al ruins Karen's white shirt by washing it with colors and turns it purple. Well of course Karen is PISSED and calls a mock trial to prove to Al that she deserves her money back on account of ruining her blouse (she had given Al 5$ I believe). Cody's the judge and decides that nobody's to blame, or something like that. Anyways, it's nice to see a B plot that revolves around Karen.

Hmmm... Now that you mention it, I might have some vague memories of that sub-plot. But I guess I thought the main plot in that episode, the one about Dana and Carole, was more interesting somehow, so I ended up pretty much forgetting about that sub-plot with Karen and Al and the purple blouse. But of course, that doesn't mean I don't like Karen. She was great! But so was Dana.
