She's 50 years old as of last week, spent years on a hit sitcom, and has four sons. She openly had a breast lift and tummy tuck, and wrote about the experience:

Her breasts, she says, were "horrifying." And her stomach was a mess. "I had a big ridge of scar tissue. My belly button was herniated. Then there was that skin that hung there. It didn't work to suck it in. It wouldn't have mattered if I had done 1,000 sit-ups. "

The tummy tuck was like having another C-section, she says. "I would recommend it to anyone."

The pics of her in a bikini in Hawaii have been all over the net in the last two days and I have to say I was taken aback from the intentionally misleading reports and catty remarks of Haffington Post, Page six and TMZ as well as all the nasty comments that followed. I mean seriously, this woman has been so public about her plastic surgery. We know she is fifty years old, had four pregnancies, four c-sections, a herniated belly button and lots of scar tissue.I also read she had a tumor removed from her leg. So she's got a small belly button. Who cares. She looks absolutely fantastic. I wish all the women out there could afford the tummy tuck and the breast lift after the pregnacies and this has nothing to do with self-confidence. I can't wait until all those delusional punks who're screaming ewww turn fifty and see what age, nature and, if they are women, pregnancies, do to their bodies. And if they think they will look even remotely better than she does they're being delusional.

My two cents ;)

The Huffington Compost. They can be a nasty group. It's not Patty they detest, it's her politics, even if they claim otherwise. If that was Sarandon or Steisand, they would be applauding them. Moving on, Patty looks simply fabulous. Here's my favorite picture, and I'm not kidding. She's so natural and normal, that she doesn't care what people think, as she's pulling out a wedgie. I love her. Brian, great avatar for you maybe, lol.

Patricia Heaton's Belly-Button-less Photos

One time star of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', Patricia Heaton, has surfaced in some photos sunning herself on a beach in Hawaii this week - prompting several gossip sites to cattily speculate as to the state of her belly-button.

Heaton, who's about to return to the small screen alongside Kelsey Grammer for the second series of 'Back To You', was snapped in a bikini, with one gossip website running the photo's under the heading 'Not Everybody Loves Belly Buttons'.

The article questioned whether she "celebrated her recent 50th birthday by removing her belly-button?"

A little research reveals that the actress wrote about her appearance in her book 'Motherhood and Hollywood: How to Get a Job Like Mine', where she wrote that she has had four Caesarean sections and consequently, a tummy tuck.

"I would recommend it to anyone," she says.

"I had a big ridge of scar tissue. My belly button was herniated. Then there was that skin that hung there. It didn't work to suck it in. It wouldn't have mattered if I had done 1,000 sit-ups."
