I visited a site a few months ago and it compared the real handbook to a fake one. Does anyone happen to know what that site is by any chance? Thanks!

Ive seen that too...but, i cant recall where...I use that book a lot (Mostly for the episode names) ;)

Actually, I dont think one version is a "fake" i think it was a case of either a prototype or an earlier edition.

Oh, sorry. Well on the site, they were comparing the two and how they are different. But I was almost certain they were calling one a "fake". Oh well...

Looking at the 2 side by side, my feeling is that the "fake" one is a mock-up that was created as a prototype, before the final design was "locked in", & sent to the news services (or w/e) for promotional purposes.

My reasoning being that it has many, though not all of the elements of the final design...things like the security band might have been last minute additions, for instance, and the different lettering may have been that they didnt have the proper font ready for use on the mock-up, so used a standard font they had in the print shop
