I just rented the DVD of Baby Take a Bow with Shirley Temple and I was watching a preview of the movie she did called Dimples. There was a black actor in the movie called Stepin Fetchik.
If anyone remembers there was a St. Olaf story Rose told of a lady she knew named Fetchik who had plastic surgery and married a man named Adolf Step who was a dance instructor. "They left St. Olaf and became the world renowned dance team of Step and Fetchik!"
I didn't get the joke before but after watching the preview for the movie, I get it now and it is hilarious! :brent
Rose was good at those things. Like her history teacher was Adolf Hitler but she knew him as Fritz Sticklemeyer. LOL! It was so funny! :lol:
