InspectorExstead 03-10-2008, 01:15 AM i knew a good majority of the fol episodes were on youtube, but i had been too busy to sit down and look at them. well, i finally watched a bunch of episodes & oh man...how i wish the later seasons were on dvd as well. :( but i guess this makes up for not having them on dvd, seeing as how my vcr tapes are too bad to watch. i'm SO glad so many episodes of fol are on youtube though. i know exactly where to go whenever i get bored. lol.
An 80s Guy 03-10-2008, 02:03 PM I'm sure Youtube will delete them soon. There use to be a user who would upload segments of Unsolved Mysteries. He had like over 150 segments and Youtube deleted all of his videos and suspended his account.I'm sure it will happen with these soon so enjoy them while you can I know I will.
friendsfan77 03-10-2008, 03:57 PM I'm downloading these videos like mad. It's so nice to finally get to see the Edna's Edibles and Over Our Heads episodes since Sony is so damn slow with releasing DVDs and a network doesn't seem to want to air this show. I haven't seen much of the show in years and it's so great seeing FOL again.
RoryGilmore 03-10-2008, 07:11 PM I hope they'll stay on there I spend a lot of my spare time watching them!
pfeifferobsessed 03-10-2008, 07:25 PM a coulpe of the accounts on youtube that uploaded eps have been suspended, so not all the eps are on there now, but they used to be! so if youre downloading them i would hurry up if i were you cause who knows when the remaining accounts will be suspended! i personally just finished downloading and burning all the eps to dvd last month...it does take quite a while!
blairjotootienat 03-10-2008, 07:36 PM There's also a great clip on YouTube of Lisa Whelchel surprising Kim Fields while promoting a play on a morning talk show in Texas.

oooh. that is a smart idea! thanks for the heads up. how do i go about saving it on my computer and then burning it on a cd? it does sound like it takes time, but it's worth it!

well to download the eps, youll need to get vdownloader...just search that on google and download it! then you can download the eps by copying and pasting the url into vdownloader! if vdownloader doesnt work for you...try voodoo downloader...they are two different programs, but i had some trouble with vdownloader half-way through the eps and had to download voodoo downloader to finish! if you have a dvd burner then you can burn them onto dvd! if you dont have a dvd burner on your computer you can make a vcd (video-cd) but that might not play on all dvd players!

woohoo! thanks so much for the help. =) i downloaded voodoo downloader & downloaded one clip of fol off of youtube. however, when i tried to play it in window's media player, it wouldn't show the clip. i could only hear it, but not see it. maybe i should download vdownloader instead and see how it works...?
Nvr_Sk_to_Tll 03-11-2008, 03:03 AM YouTube seems now to have pulled (due to copyright issues) all the clips of Lisa Whelchel in the Christian exercise video she did in the 80s.
I guess if you wanna get ahold of FoL, you'd better hurry, as the rest of those'll probably be the next down...people better start downloading and burning and trading like crazy if they wanna keep their 'Facts' supply steady until the remaining seasons are released.

see thats one of the problems with voodoo downloader it converts the vid to avi-format and for some reason that wont play in windows and it wont burn with just any program...luckily i had a different dvd making program on my laptop that would burn it! vdownloader can convert the vids into any format...to view it properly convert the vids to mpeg-format or dvd-format...either one will work and burn!
RoryGilmore 03-11-2008, 07:51 AM I hope they stay on YouTube till I get my laptop in May. vdownloader would really slow my comp. down and I dont have a DVD burner on this.

I use RealPlayer to download all my eps. I also used to use vixy.com, but it's slower and doesn't work as well (in my opinion).

ooooh. i see. well, i downloaded vdownloader & i've downloaded a bunch of episodes so far! it's going by so much faster than voodoo downloader & i can view them also. lol. hopefully i can burn them on a dvd later when i get some plain dvds, but at least i have the later episodes on my laptop! thanks for the help. :)

Yep! Damn bosses and producers in the entertainment industry crying over copyright infringement! It's affecting all TV show eppisodes, music videos, songs, video game footages, machinima, and videos featuring celebrities that are uploaded onto YouTube! Soon (if the entertainment/media/video games/music industry has it's way and wins their lawsuits against YouTube), YouTube will be nothing more than a bunch of amature videos featuring immature guys lighting their farts on fire and trannies dressing in disgusting ways! Damn those entertainment industry big bosses!

JoPol_wannabe 03-12-2008, 05:29 PM I was just wondering if someone with a myspace page could post videos on there and keep them on there without them being deleted or do the creaters of myspace delete videos after so long cause if not maybe these people should post the FOL videos on myspace.
