The food, not the bird itself. The taste of it makes me gag. I despise it so much. If I do eat it, I am nauseous for hours.

I'm weird with chicken. One day I can eat it and enjoy it... the next time it makes me gag. While most of the time I do like it- on the days I can't stomach it I know that "taste" your talking about... just can't explain it :lol:

My youngest daughter is the exact same way with all food EXCEPT chicken. She loves chicken nuggets, although, I seriously doubt that is actually chicken.

Sometimes I love it and other times it's disgusting to me, but I'm that way with a lot of meat.

I'm not fond of it baked but, give me Broaster chicken 3 times a week...on the other hand, KFC makes me retch :barf:

I love chicken, but I'm very fussy with it. I has to be Perdue brand. It also has to be boneless and skinless. Even then, my husband takes all excess anything off it for me, before I cook it. I don't want to bite into something hard or anything funky.

well.....i used to hate chicken & get grossed out by it. not just chicken, but any meat in general. lol. that's why i was a vegetarian for 6 years. but then a little over a year ago, i started eating meat again, shocking everyone i knew. but i've realized how much i've missed out. lol. i don't think i can ever go back to being a vegetarian! lol.

I'm glad I'm not alone in loving chicken. I have a hard time eating steak and beef because it always gets stuck in my teeth. But with pasta, rice, in tacos or burritos, on pizza (barbequed style), fried, baked, in a sandwich, etc... I love chicken

no way. i love all types of chicken...fried, roasted, cutlets, sandwiches...ect. aaah i love it. <3 luckily we have some in the fridge or id be really sad that i cant have any right now cause im in the mood for it :(

YUM, same here :drool: I absolutely love chicken--it's about the only meat I can stand most of the time. Not a fan of pork and I can only have beef once in a while. Fish is okay.

Isn't that weird? My son hates chicken any other way, but he loves chicken nuggets, either from McDonald's or the kind I find in the grocery store and cook up myself.

and i agree. i don't like kfc either. it's too greasy & doesn't taste good enough for what they charge. the last time i had kfc i got sick, so i'm steering clear of it for a whiiiile. though they do have yummy corn on the cob.

I hear ya..I had KFC recently and it was just, nasty; it was so bad that my dog would not even touch it, and she absolutely loves chicken:lol:

mmm. all of this talk about chicken makes me want to go to denny's & get some of their boneless buffalo wings.

I like eating chicken as long as I don't see it raw. In fact, I don't eat any sort of beef, chicken, other meat, etc. when I'm cooking for myself. I detest looking at raw meat. Weird, I know.

Growing up, I never knew anyone who didn't like chicken, but as an adult I've met more and more people that don't like it.

I love it myself...used to like it all kinds of ways, but I don't eat fried chicken anymore. I like it roasted... a Supermarket chain that's big here in Florida sells roasted chicken, and I like the "lemon pepper" flavor as well as "mojo" (whatever that is).

The majority of people that I know who don't like it say they just don't like the taste of it, or the texture.

My mother-in-law can't eat chicken, and she grew up on a farm where chickens were raised...her dislike of chicken is related to having seen chickens being killed and prepared. Made her lose her appetite for it, and she never got it back.

Chicken is awesome if it's cooked right :D
