Cliff and Cissy were minor characters that really didn't contibute much. They just rounded out depth. So in my opinion, they wouldn't have mattered whether the show would have been better with them or not. Fred and Cal carried the show anyway.

I myself, would have preferred that they had Rollo taking over as looking after Fred instead of introducing Cal into the show. Nathaniel Taylor was part of the original cast and deserved a bigger part on the show.

Sorry double post. I bought the Sanford series from iOffer and have been watching the show. I noticed that the interior of the house is different from the original.
