The entire 9am hour on BET this morning was just WEIRD, because not onlt did BET air the Pilot again, the episode they aired at 9:30am is nowhere to be found on the Internet. The episode involved the oldest brother working as a saesman and that episode is not on tv.com or imdb.com

I was expecting eps 2 and 3 this mornin, not the ep BET aired last week and a unknown episode #

This was listed on the BET Press listings
9:00am #2 "Death of a Salesman"
9:30am #3 "Dirty Laundry"

So, it looks like they aired #1 Pilot and #2 Death of a Salesman, going by your description (I taped it too, but watching Sanford right now).

You should record 3am and 12pm. I'm guessing they will air Death of a Salesman at 3am and Dirty Laundry at 12pm.

I recorded the 3am episode, but haven't watched thus yet. Watching 12pm now and it is the pilot again for some reason. Very strange because BET's press listings do not say that at all. It should be #3 Dirty Laundry with #2 Death of a Salesman at 3am. I hope #2 aired at 3am.

Well, I didn't watch 3am yet. I don't know what happened with BET this weekend. They had slated #2 and #3 for 9-10am Sat and #2 at 3am and #3 at 12pm Sun. But instead we got #1 and #2 9-10am Sat, and #1 Sun at 12pm, so I'm assuming #2 aired at 3am...so no nothing new I'd guess since you saw #2 at 9:30am on Saturday.

Just checked my recording...the 3am episode was the pilot once again.

So, if this pattern continues next week it should be like this:
Sat
9:00am #2 Death of a Salesman
9:30am #3 Dirty Laundry
Sun
3:00am #2 Death of a Salesman
12:00pm #2 Death of a Salesman

I hope I'm wrong and they show two a week like originally planned. I'll keep you all posted on what BET lists.

Yes, that is what BET sent out. Let's see what airs. I for some reason think #2 (Death of a Salesman) will air at 9am instead.

No Sanford and Thea this Saturday night at 2:30am and 3am due to some special. But they will air Sunday afternoon.

I never knew that. You would think that BET would highlight that heavily as TVOne does with some of their one hit wonder shows like Wanda and Cedric the Entertainer presents. Do you have any info on when those unaired episodes were supposed to air on ABC?

Watching the Sunday 12pm episode, and it seems to be #5 "Danesha Loooves Leonard"

It was supposed to be a repeat of #4, hmmm. #5 and #6 are scheduled for next Saturday 9-10am though.

Yeah I'm taping it now. I need new copies of episodes 3 and 4 because there was a technical problem with Comcast and the picture kept popping. so maybe we can do a trade pav, 2 for 1

No more confusion starting next week, because Thea will just be Saturdays 9-10am and Sanford Sundays 12-1pm...more info tomorrow on the blog.

Hey!
I was really hoping someone would help me! I just found out on Wednesday, March 19th of last week that Thea was airing on BET channel! I live in Canada, and just wondering if the programming is different then what is playing in the USA? On my starchoice online guide it told me 2 episodes would air on Saturday, March 22 at 9 am to 10 am. BUT, on my tv screen guide, it was BET NOW... and of course I tuned in at that time and it was BET NOW. So I came on here hoping to find some help.

Did anyone else watch THEA yesterday morning at 9am? I just found out that this show was playing the past few weeks but I missed them all, so I am going to watch BET all day today to see if they play it sometime hopefully at 12 noon which was the original time they said before.

I am very happy to read on here that others are taping this show already.. and was really hoping that if I still do not get to see the show over the next few weeks, if someone would be really kind to send me the episodes that you did record? I am a big fan of Jason Weaver, and would love to see all the episodes or which ever are played I would be happy just to see as many as possible!

Please let me know!

Of course I would pay for the tapes, and shipping costs to have them sent to me and your time! As I know this TV show is very unlikely to come out on DVD itself in the stores I didn't ever think they would play reruns on TV until now!!

Thank you!
Sarah

It seems like the producers couldn't decide if they wanted it to be family friendly or more adult oriented. If you notice within the episodes and storylines, they rotate (one episode storylines center around the kids, another one centers around Thea). I don't think this show was trying to be a black Roseanne. Roseanne dealt with more serious issues such as a struggling working family mixed in with comic relief. Thea really didn't have those moments.

I also think there was considerable pressure on the show given the timeslot. An 8pm show is expected to bring in the viewers for the night and I doubt Thea was that strong on the comedy circuit to pull something like that.

The show was centered around Thea and her kids, so most likely some episodes would be about Thea and some about her kids.

I don't think that Thea and Roseanne are anything a like. Both shows dealt with different issues and the kids weren't anything a like. The only thing that Thea and Roseanne had in common was that they were both hard working women.

Solomon, did you see the rest of the episodes? What did you think of Thea in the restaurant business? Nice to see Cal (Dennis Burkley) from Sanford on the show.

I liked them...also liked the one with Myra from Family Matters.
